Leeds and Wakefield Organists' Association

LWOA was formed at the end of 2024 as a merger between Leeds Organists' Association  and Wakefield Organists' Association. We are a friendly group who love the organ and its music, whether in church, concert hall or theatre. We welcome players of all levels, as well as those who enjoy listening while someone else does the playing!

We organise a varied selection of events each year, including masterclasses with top teachers and performers, opportunities to hear and play interesting instruments, and opportunities to learn more about the organ and its music.

We invite you to join our meetings where you will receive a very warm welcome.

We can offer help and advice to all church musicians and clergy, and we can advise and support those who want to learn the organ, whatever their age. (In some cases we will even consider sponsoring lessons.)
